Windows 8 energy-saving mode wakes up by itself

If you have the problem that your devices (PC, notebook) with Windows wake up at night, then you either have a cat or it is the automatic maintenance mode of Windows.

However, there may also be other programs that want to do something at night. To find the culprits on the program side, do the following:

CMD as Admin:

powercfg -lastwake
powercfg -waketimers
powercfg -devicequery wake_from_any

 The culprit is usually located here:

System control\All system control elements\Maintenance center\Automatic maintenance

Allow the computer to be deactivated by scheduled maintenance.
